Lihula, Estonia—A HERD OF ORPHANS won the Tallinn Zoo Special Award at the Matsalu Nature Film Festival. It was awarded for the film’s achievement in conveying an impactful conservation message. Mr. Mati Kaal, former director of the Tallinn Zoo and current board member of the Friends of the Tallinn Zoo presented the award to film director Kelly Bakos during the festival award ceremony on September 22nd, 2018.
