Kelly Bakos
Filmmaker, photographer, illustrator, writer and designer
Kelly Bakos is the creative force behind FauneVoyage Films & Media (est. 2012), which specializes in developing video and outreach materials for science, environment and wildlife conservation causes. She has documented gorilla research in Central Africa, produced campaigns for protecting North America’s grizzly bear habitat and managed fundraising and communications for a wildlife rescue center in Cambodia.
After earning a BS in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana, Kelly went on to study Natural History Filmmaking & Communication at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
She is a certified drone pilot (FAA Commercial UAS) and licensed boat captain (USCG Master License).
While Kelly often works solo, she draws upon her extensive network when collaborative projects arise. She’s worked with a wide range of clients and organizations since 2002 including:
